Chelsea players have taken a flight to Spain for the second leg against FC Porto. The first leg ended two goals to nil with Chelsea taking all the advantage. The game will be played on Tuesday night. The Blues hope to qualify for the semifinals. Tuchel is confident with his players after a comfortable win at South London. Porto also won the weekend match and hope to translate the same against Chelsea. The game will be a difficult one but it will be held on a neutral ground in Seville.
Thomas Tuchel has hinted on benching two Chelsea players. He thinks that Jorginho has been overplayed alongside Kovacic. He plans to bench either of them to give room for Frenchman N’Golo Kante. He believes in the three midfielders and that is why he keeps rotating them in every game. He has also said that he thinks of giving Christensen a deserved break. He appreciates his good progress and form since he stepped in for Thiago Silva. The Brazilian is back fit and hopes to display a good performance when given chance. Tuchel has explained that if Chelsea achieve a good result in the first half, he will be tempted to give Tammy Abraham a chance. He is sorry for him losing his place due to the injury he picked. He however outlined that he wants him to continue training more to achieve what Tuchel expects of him.
