He was released this afternoon from jail on a 10 million shillings cash bail that will see him appear in court to answer to the charges labelled against him at a later date according to a Nairobi Court.
However, reports reaching us just now is that the embattled Football Kenya Federation President has resigned from his post as the head of football in Kenya.
Nick Mwendwa, in his resignation letter, has cited the fact that the court cases have not only affected his businesses but his family as well.
He insisted that it is in the best interests of football in the country that he is resigning from the post.
