Cristiano Ronaldo's Powerful New Year's Message to Manchester United Fans

One thing that came out clearly in Cristiano Ronaldo's new year message to his fans and social media followers was that he was not happy with how 2021 unfolded, starting the year at Juventus and ending the year at Manchester United, 2021 was an eventful year for Cristiano in his football career. His first months in Manchester after the summer transfer has been tough as the team was struggling with form.

In a new year message to his fans, Ronaldo reflected on the events that made 2021 good and bad. This is the message he sent through his social media accounts; "2021is coming to an end and it was far from being an easy year, despite my 47 goals scored across all competitions. Two different clubs (Manchester United and Juventus) and five different coaches. One Euro Final Stage played with my nation team and one world cup qualification left pending for 2022. At Juventus, I was proud to win the Italian cup and the Italian Supercup, and become the Serie A top scorer. For Portugal, becoming the Euro top scorer was also a high point this year (2021). Of course my return to old Trafford will be one of the most iconic moments in my career.

But am not happy with what we are achieving in Man. United. None of us are happy, I'm sure of that. We know that we have to work harder, play better and deliver more than what we are delivering right now. Let's make this new year Eve a turning point of the season! Let's embrace 2022 with high spirit and a stronger mentality. Let us take us above and beyond, let's reach for the stars and put this club right where it belongs! Join us, we are counting on all of you. Happy new year and see you soon." He concluded the message.
