Bukhungu Stadium Fully Packed With Fans Over The Weekend In A FKF Premier League Match (Photos)

Over the past weekend, fans were allowed back into the stadium in Kenya for the first time since breakdown of the Covid 19 pandemic early in 2020.This move was welcomed well by football fans as they went into the stadiums to enjoy live football action.

Initially, Kenyan football fans could hardly fill a stadium even in the leagues most contested derby 'the mashemeji derby' between Gormahia and AFC Leopards.Fans seem to be back with more energy and new perspective towards entering stadiums on weekend matchdays as the match between Kakamega Homeboyz and Posta rangers on Saturday at Bukhungu Stadium witnessed full attendance in the upcoming stadium which can hold a minimum of 5000.

The home team Kakamega Homeboyz went on to bag a 2-0 win in the match, a thing which clearly indicates the importance of fans into a stadium.Do you think with this Kenyans are now adopting the new culture of promoting home football through watching the matches live from the stadiums?
