Burnley vs Tottenham Match Postponed, Know the Reason Why.

A scheduled EPL matchweek 13 match between Burnley and London based team Tottenham Hotspurs has been indefinitely postponed 50 minutes before the kick off time at Burnley's Turf More stadium as both teams were set and ready to get into action.

The unfortunate decision was arrived by all involved stakeholders due to a very unavoidable circumstance as heavy snow covered the whole pitch hence there could be no possiblity of playing football on snow, it can't be done successfully.

Additionally, weighing the risk of going on with the play despite the presence of snow, the referee and other officials arrived to a mutual agreement of preventing the occurrence of this most awaited clash. Unfortunately, both teams had already dropped the starting lineups.

The stadium working team tried to sweep away the immense snow with no hesitation but their efforts were unsuccessful as it kept recurring again and again, not even the field lines could be visible enough for the match officials to make their decisions fairly.

Definitely, it's the winter summer in England and more of these harsh weather conditions should be expected anytime and could disrupt the matches scheduled to be played in the coming weeks as from now, subject to change in climate.

The Burley vs Tottenham Hotspurs battle is now subject to a new kick off time or date depending on the unfolding climatic events at the Turf Moor Stadium. Luckily, both teams are prepared psychology for a reschedule as the situation couldn't be avoided.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche and Spur's counterpart Antonio Conte are set to buy more time for match preparation. Tottenham could be the most unlucky side as they could have to fly back to London and wait for an official communication from the EPL management on the new date if need be.

However, the other Sunday EPL week 13 matches will go on as planned. This include a mouth watering clash between Chelsea and Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, a super battle that will witness Man City host Westham United at Etihad, Leicester City vs Watford and Brentford playing against Everton.
