As the senior Manchester United squad is wrecking havoc on opponents in the English Premier League, the Manchester United reserves are also inflicting more trouble on their opponents in the Premier League 2. This has been clear in the last two matches they have played against Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers under 23's. One of the players who is getting the Manchester United fans excited is new boy Amad Diallo Traore who is working his way up to make sure he gets promoted to the senior squad.
Last evening, Amad Diallo Traore made his Old Trafford debut in the Manchester United's home jersey in which he really impressed. Manchester United under 23 went in with a bunch of teenagers who included Amad Diallo Traore, Shola Shoretire, Joe Hugill and Hannibal Mejbri who scored and gave assists during the game.
Personally, Amad Diallo Traore impressed more as he provided a hattrick of assists and bagged a goal too in the 6-4 rout in which Shola Shoretire scored a hattrick, Hannibal Mejbri scored one and Joe Hugill got one for himself. After the match, Amad Diallo Traore has been involved in six goals (3 goals and 3 assists) in two matches.
His brilliant performances have made the Manchester United fans yearn to see him in action with the senior squad as well as they predicted that he will win the Ballon d'Or some day soon.
Has he justified his price tag or he is over hyped?
