"Fare-thee-well" Burial Program For Queen Elizabeth Husband

Here is a timeline for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II's husband Prince Philip, which takes place at Windsor Castle, west of London, on Saturday

11:00 am local time (1000 GMT, 12pm EAT). Prince Philip's coffin is moved from the royal family's private chapel at Windsor Castle to a separate hall.

2:10 pm. The Dean of Windsor, David Conner, the most senior religious figure at St George's Chapel, Prince Philip's burial place.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will not be joining her husband for the funeral. She is expecting the couple's second baby this summer and "has been advised by her physician not to travel to the UK" from California where they live, a Buckingham Palace spokesman said Saturday.  

The FA waited on Government advice over the FACup semi-final between Chelsea and Man City, which is due to start at 5.30pm. The game could be moved back 30 minutes to fit with BBC schedule, with Prince Philip's funeral set to take place that day.(Saturday).

Players as a mark of respect, will wear black armbands and there will be a minute’s silence before kick-off at all Premier League matches played tonight and across the weekend in honour of Prince Philip.
