The premier league table seems to be taking shape slowly as the league returns from a break. Graham Potter's Chelsea were lucky to cruise past AFC Bournemouth in their fixture today after thrashing them by two goals to nil.
The Blues earned their three points thanks to first half goals of Kai Havertz and Mason Mount. After Chelsea's big win tonight, let's take a look at the premier league standings. 
Arsenal are still on top with forty points seven above Newcastle United who are second but having played an extra match. Guardiola's City are third with thirty two points above Conte's Tottenham Hotspurs by two points.
Manchester United are fifth with twenty six points two points above rivals Liverpool who close the top six. Chelsea follow in the eighth place with twenty four points same as Brighton who are seventh but with a higher goal difference. Chelsea's win today makes them rise above London rivals, Fulham who are in the ninth place with twenty two points.
