Top EPL club Completes FIRST SIGNING, Chelsea Latest Updates, Kounde, Lewandowski

With barely two weeks from the opening of the summer transfer window, many clubs have set foot into the transfer market to boost their squads. Some of the deals have already been sealed while others are still underway. With many prominent players out of contract this summer, alot is set to occur as they seek new destinations. Here is the latest update from Stamford Bridge and Elland Road.

Leeds United have completed their first summer signing after agreeing a five year deal with Brenden Aaronson from Redbull Salzburg. Aaronson has been an outstanding performer in Salzburg as he scored 6 and provided 10 assists in 41 appearances. Speaking to the Club's official website, Leeds boss, Jesse Marsch, said " Brenden is an incredibly hard worker and we're pleased to welcome him to the club." The USA international will join Elland Road after his international duty against Morocco, Uruguay, Grenada and El Salvador (Skysports).

Chelsea have been handed a boost in signing Robert Lewandowski after it emerged that Barcelona could not afford his transfer terms. Chelsea have been stalking Lewandowski since the January transfer window where their £26m bid for the Polish was turned down by Bayern Munich. According to Marina Granovskaia, Chelsea's transfer official, The Blues are still in the race to sign him once the takeover is complete. Lewandowski is exactly what Chelsea needs after a failed attempt with Lukaku hence will be looking for a talented goalscorer(Source, Skysports).

Chelsea fans have something to smile at after the plan to make a shocking move for Sevilla's Jules Kounde as soon as the takeover is done. Thomas Tuchel will need to reinforce his defence after the massive exit in his back line. Sevilla have placed a £67m asking price for Kounde amidst interest from Chelsea and Barcelona. Chelsea are also interested in signing Ivan Perisic and Matthijs De Ligt to strengthen their defence (Source, The Sun).
