When it came to the World Cup, everyone had an opinion on which team would be the favourite to win. However, few know which team could be the dark horse and, like Croatia did in 2018, fly through the favourites to play in the final but, unlike Croatia, win the World Cup.

I know it will be hard to convince you, but Morocco could be the dark horse in the Qatar World Cup. The statistics of the African team before the World Cup appear to support this. Morocco came into this World Cup unbeaten in nine games. In this run of games, they've faced Croatia, Chile, South Africa, and a slew of other formidable opponents.

If the nine-game unbeaten streak isn't enough to persuade you, consider that the North African side hasn't conceded a goal in the last five games. Morocco is a team to watch; Croatia couldn't beat them as they drew, and Belgium lost 2-0 to them.

Canada is up next, and the Canadians could struggle at the hands of Morocco. Do you believe Morocco will win this World Cup, or is it too ambitious to imagine so?
