Manchester United is set to sign a new head coach at the beginning of next season to take over from the interim coach Ralf Rangnick. The team doesn't have a permanent coach after the firing of Ole Gunnar. The team is facing a difficult season so far after being knocked out of the Champions League by Atletico Madrid. They also face a possibility of missing the champions league next season as the race for the top four intensifies. They now sit in the 6th position with 50 points.
Four managers have been identified as the next possible coaches to take over Manchester United. These are; Mauricio Pochettino, Erik Ten Hag, Julen Lopetegui, and Thomas Tuchel. Reports from Goal.Com show that Mauricio and Ten Hag are leading the race. Mauricio Pochettino has been on Manchester United's radar for a long time. The coach is struggling at Paris Saint Germaine and can decide to switch to Manchester. PSG is contacting Zinedine Zidane to take over from Mauricio.
Erik Ten Hag has been having a blissful life at Ajax. He has transformed the team to be one of the greatest in Europe. His success has attracted Manchester who wishes to bring him on board. Julen Lopetegui is another successful coach who has powered Sevilla to European giants. 
Thomas Tuchel was a surprise choice on the list. This may be due to the crisis at Chelsea but if it is not solved in good time, Tuchel may be on his way out. However, Tuchel seems to be enjoying life at Stamford Bridge, and if the challenges are solved, then he may remain.
