Harambee Stars Abroad and How they Performed Over the Weekend

In Japan's J1 league,Harambee Stars winger Ayub Timbe came in as a second half substitute as his Vissel Kobe side drew 1-1 against Cerezo Osaka FC.Furahashi opened the scoring for the Kobe side in the 30 th minute before Toriumi equalished for the hosts in dying minutes of the game.Vissel Kobe are currently third on the log with 38 points after 21 matches played.Elsewhere in the Swedish topflight,it was full 90 minutes for Harambee Stars fullback Erick 'Marcello' Ouma as his AIK club thrashed Verbergs Bols 2-1.Mathews opened the scoring for Verbergs in the 30th minute before Radulovic equalised for the hosts in the 37th minute.Rogic scored the winning goal for the AIK club in the 77th minute.AIK are currently third on the log with 20 points after 11 matches played.

In the Tanzanian topflight,Harambee Stars defender Joash Onyango was on the bench as his Simba SC thrashed Namungo FC 4-0 to clinch the league title in style.Former Gor Mahia forward Meddie Kagere opened the scoring in the 18th minute before Chris Mugalu's brace gave Simba a 3-0 comfortable lead.Captain John Bocco came in as a subsitute to wrap things up with a superb penalty in the dying minutes of the game.
