St Mirren could prove testing opponents for Rangers this weekend when the Buddies put their six-game unbeaten run on the line against Steven Gerrard’s men.
Jim Goodwin’s side are growing in belief after a slow start in the league and, after three wins on the bounce, fancy their chances of showing a TV audience they can go toe to toe with the champions.
St Mirren have shown two different faces at home and away this year with generally low-scoring games at St Mirren Park and more open affairs coming on the road for them.
