Mourinho Flung Subtle Jibes At Manchester United Star After Tottenham Were Humbled by The Red Devils

Manchester United started the match slowly but grew into a lethal side as time went on. On the 33rd minute Manchester United had a goal disallowed after Scot McTominary hit Heung Min Son using his hand. Manchester United were left feeling aggrieved after Chris Kavanagh penalised Scott McTominay for fouling Heung Min Son in the build-up to Edinson Cavani’s goal following a VAR review.

Tottenham Hotspurs took the lead before half time through Son on the 40th minute. Manchester United responded quickly after half time break the Fred to level things up. Substitute Mason Greenwood's cross on the 79th minute was met by a powerful diving header from Edison Cavani and Manchester United had completed the comeback. The youngster went on to put more salt on Tottenham Hotspurs' wound by scoring the the red devils' 3rd goal to put the match beyond Jose Mourinho's Men in the injury time.

Tottenham Hotspurs manager José Mourinho wasn't happy with the results. Speaking to the Skysport pundit in after match interview Mourinho said; "My opinion was we didn't deserve this result at all. We were unlucky because maybe Pogba should get a red card for an elbow on Serge Aurier," he told SkySports. On the contrary the referee didn't think Paul Pogba deserved a red card since he didn't give him even a yellow card for elbowing Serge Aurier.
