Nairobi, Kenya.Tuesday 7th December 2021.
Chelsea woes continue as more players are set to miss their next fixtures due to injury and covid-19.
Mateo Kovasic has been comfirmed to have tested positive of Covid-19 on Tuesday. He will now be forced to stay in isolation for a couple of days.
This is very unfortunate since he had just came out of injury and undertook his first full training with the team.
The Croatian international will miss tomorrow's champions league clash against Zenit and probably the Saturday's fixture against Leeds.
This comes at a time when Chelsea have the highest number of fixtures for the month of December.
Chelsea are now missing half of their first team players due to injuries. This is a big headache for Thomas Tuchel who has been brilliant with the squad.
