Kenyan striker Marjoleen Nekesa netted a brace as her side Minsk FC beat Bobruichanka FC 13.0 in the Belarusian women premier league. Marjoleen has been scoring goals almost in every game since joining the side last month.The Harambee starlets forward was in great form last night as Minsk FC continued to prove their ability against other teams.Marjoleen will be looking for more game time in the national team if her form continues abroad.
Another Kenyan, Eugene Asike has reportedly agreed to join Swedish third tier side IF Karlstad Fotbol on a permanent deal from Tusker FC. The defender featured for Tusker FC on 20th January against Vihiga Bullets. Asike won two league titles with Tusker in his six years stints with the side.The former KCB and Sofapaka central defender will be hoping for game time in Europe in the coming weeks. Harambee Stars midfielder Eric Omondi was introduced in the 89th minutes for his side Waasland Beverens against Excel Mouscron as his side won 2.0.Omondi signed a six month contract with the Belgium team and will be hoping for an extension in the coming weeks. The 28year old ended his stay in Swedish second tier side Jorkopings Sondra before joining the Belgium side on a free transfer. His main aim was to remain fit as he looks for another long term deal in Europe. We wish him all the best ahead.
