Manchester United are known for making world class signings but this time round they only signed average players. United over the transfer window signed the likes of Van de Beek from Ajax, Alex Telles, Amad Diallo and Fucado Pellistri. Of all the signing, there wasn't any outstanding star like January signing Bruno Fernandes.
The United heirachy also managed to land Edison Cavani on a free transfer and his impact on the United forward has been felt as the star has been so phenomenal since his signing for the Red Devils. This is however seen as a short term solution and the Red Devils are looking for a permanent solution to it's attacking woes. In this regard they have recently been linked with Borussia Dortmund and Belgium forward Erling Haaland for a possible move to Old Trafford.
The Belgian is said to be unhappy with his current club after they registered dismally in the last few games prompting the star to ask for an exit. According to the Sky Sports, United are ready to break the banks for Haaland whose asking price is around £180 million.
The Belgian has been so lateral especially last season helping Borussia to win the Bundesliga. Further reports from the United heirachy are saying that United Chief Executive Ed Woodward is ready to back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer financially to see the Red Devils regain it's old glory.
Should the Red Devils sign Haaland, their would have one of the most lateral forward in history with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Bruno Fernandes in the attack alongside the Belgian.
What do you think about this new development by United to sign Haaland?
