Ole Gunnar is on the verge of being sacked by Manchester United. Ole Gunnar has registered 4 wins 1 Loss and 2 Draws. He made it worse by being squashed 2-1 by Young Boys in the UCL while escaping with a 2-1 victory over Villarreal. During the Man United match against Everton, Ole Gunnar's tactics were questioned.
First of all, Christiano Ronaldo wasn't on the starting lineup. Donny Van da Beek was still warming the bench together with Jadon Sancho. Football fanatics view Van Da Beek's transfer as a wastage of funds because Ole Gunnar never utilizes his talents. Fred had been included in the starting lineup. Fred has been hailed as a flop who doesn't have any effect on the red devil's game. This led to Man United dropping points against a timid Everton side.
Due to this speculations have been thrown about on the two possible managers who might replace Ole Gunnar in case he got fired.
1. Zinedine Zidane
Zinadine is one of the best coaches of the 2010s. Zinedine helped Real Madrid lift 3UCL trophies in 3 consecutive years. He became the only coach to accomplish this feat in the history of the UCL. Man United needs Zidane's UCL brilliance to glories in the UCL. In the past, Ronaldo's combination with Zidane has proven to be lethal and that's exactly what Man United craves at the moment.
2. Antonio Conte
Antonio Conte has previously worked his tactical ingenuity on various teams and he has always come out on top. Conte aided an unsteady Inter Milan to win the Serie A title breaking the 9 year supremacy of Juventus. Ole hasn't managed to win any trophy with Man United. Conte would be a good replacement because he does what it takes to win trophies, unlike Ole Gunnar who keeps on stumbling whenever it comes to a final or a semi-final.
These are the two coaches aligned as the possible replacements for Ole Gunnar Solkejar. Who is the best choice for Man United? Who do you think is capable of taking the Man United team to the next level? Leave your comments below and remember to subscribe for more football news.
