RAILA CONGRATULATES SENEGALESE FOR QUALIFYING FOR THE LAST 16.

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Hon. Raila Odinga is congratulating The Lions of Teranga of Senegal for becoming the first African team in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar to qualify for the group of last 16.
He says the resilience and determination shown by Senegalese players since their first game which they lost to Netherlands has paid off and that they are ready to face tough teams in the group of 16.

“Even with the injured talisman Sadio Mane out of the tournament, Senegal players have proved to the world that they are not a push over”, he added.
He wished the team the best of luck in their next match in the knock-out stage. The Senegalese team will face the winner of group B. Which consists of England, USA, Iran and Wales.
