Forget Casemiro, Here is Man United Midfielder Who Has Been Unstoppable This Season

Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has been one of the most exciting players at Old Trafford this season under Erik Ten Hag. The former Real Madrid star has been vital in Manchester United's good run in the last few months starting almost every game for the club.

Despite being heavily criticized when he joined the Red Devils in the summer from Real Madrid, Casemiro has proved everyone wrong and has shown why he is considered one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe.

The 30-year-old has been dominant in Erik Ten Hag's midfield bringing defensive stability to the midfield which has been lacking for a long time. He has seemed difficult to stop and beat in the midfield and has produced superb moments so far at Old Trafford.

Manchester United is finally getting back to winning ways and their midfield seems to have no weakness after struggling for a long time. They have found a proper defensive midfielder who can be a good replacement for Michael Carrick.

Meanwhile, Casemiro has been brilliant this season but there has been another midfielder at Old Trafford who has seemed to be more entertaining than The Brazilian international. Denmark international Christian Eriksen has been exciting to watch at Manchester United

He has been utilized as a central midfielder by Erik Ten Hag and has been exceptional in that role despite not being a natural central midfielder. Eriksen has been the most creative Manchester United star this season having provided 8 assists across all competitions.

No player from Old Trafford has more assists than the 30-year-old Danish international even ahead of Bruno Fernandes who has been playing in a more offensive role.

Eriksen has been dominant in the team's midfield and he could his abilities could help the team secure silverware as he seems he can't be stopped by most of the opponents he has faced.
