Arteta's lieutenants who were in top form and instrumental in Tottenham's hammering

Arteta extended his league winning streak to three games with a 3-1 win over Tottenham, following a disastrous first three league games in which everything seemed to fall apart, with Trust The Process serving as a consolation for better days to come. Indeed, Mikel Arteta (and his technical bench) and Bukayo Saka deserved all of the credit for the win against Tottenham, but who are the unsung heroes who contributed to the victory:

Tomiyasu and Ben White did everything that was asked of them. Tomiyasu handled Heung Min Son flawlessly, and it was his attention to not fall for Son's tricks that allowed him to have a productive game at right back. Ben White, on the other hand, improved on his poor performance against Burnley, for which he was heavily chastised. He generally performed admirably, but he was fortunate not to be penalized for his kick on Harry Kane.

Although few Arsenal fans expected Xhaka to return to Arteta's starting lineup, his inclusion surprised many. Xhaka breathed new life into Arsenal's midfield. His tenacity was the driving force behind Arsenal's dominant midfield play. Ndombele and Holjberg were "taught" how to play in the midfield by Xhaka and Partey. Xhaka was one of the brightest players in this North London Derby, despite having to come off due to injury.

Aubameyang led by example, and his superb 27th-minute goal demonstrated that he is still the man Arsenal fans can rely on to do the job. He was so energetic at center forward with his timed runs that it appeared at one point that Arsenal did not need to sign a new striker.
