Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher however believes Frenkie De Jong is worth waiting for because he would make all the difference in Erik ten Hag's first season in the premier league.
Carragher stated that De jong is a top class player and would make a huge difference.
Erik ten Hag has made it clear that he wants to get a holding midfielder after former manager Ole Gunnar failed to get one for the club last summer.
Erik ten Hag stated that they want to sign the right holding midfielder but of they can't get one,they will have to use the ones in their current squad.
