The moment Chelsea's new owner, Todd Boehly, joined the squad for end of the season lap of honour

Kai Havertz and Ross Barkley scored the goals for Chelsea football club in their disappointing 2-1 victory over relegation candidate Watford at stamford bridge in the final game of the 2021-2022 Barclays Premier League season. Watford scored their goal in the middle of Havertz and Barkley's goal for Chelsea.

At the conclusion of the game, the club conducted the annual lap of honor that they do at the conclusion of each season. The lap of honor is a moment for the players, players' family members, and coaches to express their gratitude to the club's supporters.

Photos posted on Instagram show Captain Cesar Azpilicueta and his family participating in the Chelsea lap of honor earlier today.

The new owner of the club, Todd Boehly, surprised everyone by joining the team as they carried out the procession in front of a packed crowd at Stamford Bridge. Alongside him were players Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, both of whom are expected to play for another team in the upcoming season.

Next year, Chelsea will want to challenge for the championship, and Todd Boehly is proving that he belongs on the squad by contributing to the club's success.
