Chelsea are currently leading the Premier League title race with a whopping 33 points followed by Man City and Liverpool respectively. The Blues clashed with newly promoted Watford in a thriller that saw Tuchel side extend their unprecedented winning streak.
Saul and Loftus Cheek were exposed in the midfield as Jorginho and Kante absence was felt. The duo was outplayed leading to the Blues conceeding their 6th goal in this campaign. Mount and Ziyech stepped up to net for the Blues as Dennis pulled one back for the host.
Despite the win, the German tactician expressed his dissatisfaction particularly on Saul. Tuchel said enough was enough and he didn't need Saul anymore in his team after a disastrous display vs Watford. He replaced him at half time.
Tuchel speaking to Metro said why he snubbed off Saul Niguez during Watford win saying, "I don't know where he goes from this performance but he was on a yellow card but we had two options - take Marcos Alonso off and try Saul as a wing-back. I thought maybe it was not the right match to try things with new positions."
