Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku is working hard for the new season set to start on August.
Lukaku, who will play on loan at Inter Milan after failed season as Chelsea, has sent a message that has elicited angry reactions on social media.
He shared that he is ready to show how he is strong and cuts ties faster when the mood is not right.
"I'ma probably show you I'm solid first and if the energy ain't right. I'ma show you how easy it is to cut ties, no more tries. Gone…" he wrote.
Lukaku trains hard for Inter Milan on Wednesday, 6th July.
Whilst Lukaku didn't mention Chelsea, the fans feel that he is firing shots back.
Some have commented that he should be sold to Inter at whatever fee the club wants.
Lukaku resigned for Chelsea last year at a whooping £97.5 million.
Here are some comments from the blue fans.
@Kwabena Chelse already cut ties with you.
@Solomon First of all you need to improve on your first touch and ball control skill. For your level, it is atrocious that you can’t get these basics right. I wouldn’t want Ibra to throw shades at you again.
@Mide Cut ties? No one is tying you down actually.. you're not just too good to adapt. If you wanna cut ties, then it's good.
@Mbanda We don't need the King of sweats back at Stamford bridge.
