Just a day after losing to France in the semi-finals, sources have suggested that Morocco has lodged an official complaint to FIFA and is requesting a rematch.

The Moroccans conceded a rare early goal in the first half before France sealed their place in the finals through a late goal in the second half.
However, controversial decisions during the game have necessitated that Morocco feels they were beaten unfairly. For instance, when Hernandez of France collided with Boufal of Morocco in the French penalty area, the referee awarded a free kick and booked the Moroccan.

Fans protested the move, expecting an award of a penalty.

ESPN revealed the following through their official website;

On the other hand, the FRMF, the body in charge of football in Morocco, expresses concern over the VAR's failure to react to critical moments of the game's decision.
"We will spare no effort to defend and preserve the rights of the national selections by advocating fairness in arbitration," read the statement.
