The Hazard we all knew isn't the Hazard we see today, why?Hazard went to Real Madrid to become a legend, but his body failed him. He had dreamed of this transfer since childhood. When he finally turned up for his appointment with destiny after leaving Chelsea in 2019, he found a sign on the back of the office door saying “do not disturb.” Much was made—and unkindly so—of his excess weight upon his arrival in Spain, due perhaps in part to his celebration of this career-defining move.
Injuries have been part of the Belgian superstar for most of his time at the Bernabeu and that has killed his dreams of becoming a legend to the club.
Real Madrid have confirmed that Eden Hazard will undergo surgery in the next few days in a club statement. The Belgian will go under the knife due to an injury to his right fibula in another blow to his hopes of increased game-time.
Ericksen recently returned to form after a heart surgery and Eden Hazard will be hoping his surgery has the same impact if he has any hopes of being successful again, whether at Real Madrid or even elsewhere.
As a football world, we all hope the best for Eden Hazard and we hope to finally see him back to his best on the pitch.
