Manchester City have maintained an unbeaten season record since the start of the campaign. This has greatly been influenced by the newly acquired striker from Norway, Earling Haaland. Last season the team had no automatic center forwarder, therefore either of the wingers could occupy the space. Haaland is a multidimensional center forwarder who can either drop deep to receive the first pass from the midfielder therafter holding the centre backs due to his strength. This gives the midfielders time to run forward and reciving a pass from Haaland.
Another Haaland strategy is the open space running where midfielders like De Bruyne all they need to do is making a through ball into empty space. Due to Haaland's pace, he is able to reach the ball faster before the defenders hence giving him a one on one chance with the goalkeeper. That has been able to put Manchester City at it's current state.
