Mikel Arteta have been struggling with Arsenal this season despite a fine start in the first two games of the premier league. The Gunners have been lacking consistency in the Premier League competition leaving them to be described as a mid table club.
Arsenal suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday night which left them in position 10, 32 points behind league leaders Manchester City. Out of 30 games they have played, Arsenal have managed only 12 wins, drawing 6 and losing 12 accumulating a total of 42 points.
The only good news at the Emirates Stadium is that the club is still in Europa league quarter finals, they only route they can use to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Mikel Arteta knows exactly that his side is lacking creativity in various departments and he has shortlisted some targets in the summer. Arsenal are eying for Aguero as a free transfer, who has been confirmed that he will leave Manchester City at the end of the current season.
Achraf Hakimi could also be on his way to the Emirates Stadium as a replacement for Hector Bellerin next season, since the Spaniard is linked with a move away from the Gunners. William Saliba could also return from his loan move at St Etienne to play at the central defence next season.
