Elsewhere, Ethiopia's Tamirat Tola brought Kenya's marathon dominance to an end as he broke the course record to win the Men's race in 2:3:39 leaving Kenya's men to have just one in the top three. Bernard Koech clocked 2:04:09 to finish second while Jonathan Korir (2:04:32) finished fourth as Kenneth Keter (2:06:05) and Bernard Kipyego (2:06:32) finished eighth and ninth respectively.
