Arsenal continue to weigh different alternatives aiming at remedying their forward line on the pitch, bearing in mind that both Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are on the exit doors following an expired Contract. Lately, the Gunners have reportedly been linked to prolific strikers including Manchester City and Brazilian youngster Gabriel Jesus.
However, according to Charles Watts who is one of the famous football Journalists working close to the North London club, Arsenal have held talks over a move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. He adds that Arsenal ranks the player high up in their summer target list alongside a host of their targets.
According to Charles Watts, the Goal has learnt that Osimhen’s agent flew into the City of London in the previous week for a meeting with Arsenal’s technical director Edu Gaspar to discuss a potential transfer.
However, the European Journalist has noted that Arsenal are aware that convincing the attacker will be very difficult which makes it a doubt if Napoli will accept to part ways with their star striker. The Gunners on the other end remain optimistic to sign very determined players who are willing to give everything to the club and particularly those that will help enhance the club's culture.
