Premier League

'I Was Completely Wrong About Arteta As Arsenal Boss' Confirms Journalist In Huge Boost To Fans.

Arsenal are top of the Premier League table currently with just 17 matches played so far this season. Having 44 points with the Pep side who are defending champions have 39 points after the same number of games played.

It's all going well for the red side of London especially after the club spent much money in last summer to bring in high profile set of players like Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City.

But journalist Piers Morgan has a different view on Arteta as the club manager previously before the former Everton player took the Gunners to the top of the table. According to Sunsport the latter said, "In May 2022, after Arsenal lost 3-0 to Spurs in the North London Derby, I said Mikel Arteta should be sacked as manager.

I complained the massive new three-year contract he had been given the previous week was “a reward for abject failure” and “utterly ridiculous”.First, I was completely wrong about Arteta.

More pleasingly, I was also completely wrong about Spurs and Conte. And as we head into another North London derby this Sunday, I’m happy to admit I’ve never been happier to make a predictive arse of myself."concluded the Sunsport writer.
