The English Premier League returned this weekend with Chelsea losing at home to relegation bound West Brom. Manchester City took to the field and they outclassed Leicester City in a two goals to nil. Manchester United can now breath a sigh of relief as they comfortably sit second.
Mendy opened the scoring for Manchester City for his career fifth goal. Gabriel Jesus put another ahead after a brilliant cross from Raheem Sterling. City are now 17 points clear of second placed Manchester United.

Leicester are now third and it seems like it will remain so for the rest of the season. Only eight games remain now and Manchester needs to win two more games before they can be confirmed Premier League Champions again.
Manchester United are now a point ahead of Leicester with a game at hand. United play Brighton tomorrow in what is expected to be a clear win.
