United Face Injury Woes Ahead of Liverpool Game: Up to three Regular Starters Likely to be Sidelined

Manchester United and Liverpool will meet today in the biggest game of English football at 1830 EAT in Old Trafford.

Ahead of this crucial fixture, Manchester United are reportedly facing injury woes with up to three regular starters likely to be sidelined.

Bruno Fernandes, Fred and Marcus Rashford are all the rumoured players to be a doubt to face Liverpool, according to Manchester Evening News. Raphael Varane is also ruled out. Liverpool are likely to only be missing Thiago Alcantara.

Bruno Fernandes was reportedly pictured limping in training following Atalanta thriller which saw United come from behind to thrash the visitors. Fred and Rashford picked up injuries in the clash also. Rashford sustained a dead leg following a prolonged spell sidelined.

Under fire Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to play Pogba in the attacking midfield spot, a position which the Frenchman prefers to play for both club and country. Mc Tominay and Matic may play holding in a double pivot which I doubt if would benefit United because of Matic's age and may not keep up with Liverpool's pace entirely because of his slow nature.

Most pundits are bagging Liverpool to seal all three points but according to me never write off United at Old Trafford.
