Chelsea were thrashed 3-2 at London Stadium by Westham United to register their 2nd Premier League defeat of the season. Chelsea consolation goals were scored by Mason Mount and Thiago Silva in the first half before Westham United scored their goals through Lanzini, Bowen and Masuaku to clinch all the 3 points. Chelsea players were sluggish in the second half with Romelu Lukaku unable to strike a shot on target and wasting several open chances. The Blues Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy looked tired and fatigued in the second half were he conceded poor goals due to defensive mistakes & errors hence gifting Westham easy victory.
The Blues fans were not happy with Jorginho performance against Westham although he finished 3rd in the Ballon D'Or and scored against Man United. Jorginho has been consecutively making repeated costly mistakes and errors in the midfield leading to all the 3 goals Chelsea conceded. Angry Chelsea fans branded Jorginho as tactically & technically finished and urged Tuchel never to play him again due to his poor performance.
