After All Sunday Matches Were Played, See Man United, Westham & Tottenham New Positions in EPL Table

Tottenham Hotspurs won 3-2 at St James Park on Sunday Evening to claim 3 vital points in the Premier League title race. The Magpies striked first through Callum Wilson in the second minute before Tanguay Ndombele scored in the 17th minute to equalize for the visitors. Tottenham Hotspurs dominated the ball possession and counter attacks with Harry Kane and Son Hueng Min scoring the other two goals to seal a 3-1 lead for the visitors at halftime. Newcastle United were dangerous in the second half but were disadvantanged when Shelvey Njonjo received two yellow cards to reduce the hosts to 10 men but Dier scored an own goal at stoppage time to reduce the goal margin. Following the 3-2 victory, Tottenham Hotspurs climbed up to position 5 in the Premier League Table with 15 points while Newcastle United dropped to position 19 with 3 points.

Westham United defeated Everton 1-0 to seal a clean sheet victory away from home and end the Toffees 3 match winning streak in the Premier League at home. Westham United only goal was scored by Ogbonna in the 74th minute to seal all the 3 points for the visitors. Following the 1-0 win, Westham United climbed up to position 7 in the Premier League table with 14 points while Everton moved to position 8 with 14 points. Manchester United dropped to position 6 in the EPL Table with 14 points following Tottenham and Westham United Sunday victories with 14 points and they will play 2nd placed Liverpool on Saturday next week.
