Chelsea f.c. women midfielder SophieIngle is the latest player to sign a new contract, extending her stay with the club until 2023
Ingle rejoined Chelsea ahead of the 2018/2019 campaign having previously played for the club in 2012 and 2013 has played a major role in the recent trophy success.
Sophie reached 100 appearances for the blues and said she is delighted to put a pen to paper on a new deal.
The general manager Paul Green added:"we are delighted to extend Sophie contract, she has been high leads of quality and consistency since returning to the club, playing a key part in the team's recent success.
During her first spell with the Chelsea, Sophie was part of the blue side that suffered defeat in the women's FA cup final in 2012 but since her return to the club, the Welsh captain has enjoyed plenty of trophy success.
Ingle has won the FA Barclays women's super league, the continental league cup, the woman's community shield and the Welsh captain said the club has progressed both on and off the pitch since her return first spell as the blue player.
