The Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Hon. Ababu Namwamba today paid a working tour in Homabay county. CS Ababu Namwamba visited Homabay county barely one day after the head of state president William Ruto and DP Rigathi Gachagua visited Homabay county.
During his official visit, Ababu Namwamba was warmly welcomed by governor Gladys Wanga. CS Namwamba who is more focused in improving sporting activities in the country inspected the multimillion Homabay county stadium whose construction is still underway.

The Sports CS Ababu Namwamba laters joined Hon. Gladys Wanga in launching the Genowa Governor's sports tournament which was held at Homabay High School.

During the Genowa football challenge in which various teams were later announced winners, CS Ababu Namwamba and his counterpart Homabay county governor Gladys Wanga did not hesitate to showcase their football talents. CS Ababu Namwamba and Gladys Wanga were spotted playing football at Homabay High School grounds.
