Manchester United May Be Forced to Accept a Price Cut for Star

Manchester United could be forced to accept a good cut in the price for England star Jesse Lingard. Lingard's contract will come to an end this season and has not yet extended his contract.

Lingard spent most of last season on loan away to West Ham where he proceeded to perform exemplary. Ole Gunner was however not willing to part with the England international despite attracting attention from various premier league clubs.

Lingard has been offered a salary of around $135,000 to which United believe he will lure him to extend his contract. Lingard however has not signed this contract demanding to be assured of more game time.

The Red Devils will be looking to sell him come January if he does not extend his contract. United are prepared to accept as low as $15 from their initial $25. This is half the price of their asking price. Lingard has attracted attention from clubs like West Ham, Newcastle and Leicester City.
