Timo Werner pens a heartwarming message to Chelsea fans as he returns to RB Leipzig

The Chelsea forward, who had a variety of experiences in west London, has officially signed with RB Leipzig. After leaving Chelsea, the German attacker wrote a touching letter to the club's supporters. Werner posted something on his social media page.

"Hello, Blues. My career with Chelsea FC comes to an end today, and I am very grateful of the time I had with this special club

I want to take this opportunity to thank my colleagues, the coaches, the staff, and especially you, the Chelsea Football Club's loyal fans.

Over the past two years, I have experienced an incredible amount of love and support, and I will never forget how you guys stuck by me through both happy and difficult times.

Together, we won prizes like the Champions League, and I will never forget the song you composed and sung in my honor. I'm already anticipating possibly returning to play at Stamford Bridge in the future".

Werner Werner joined Chelsea in 2020 under Frank Lampard, and he has since helped the club win the UCL, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup. The German striker had a difficult time in West London, but despite his difficulties, he was adored by Chelsea fans. The 26-year-old forward leaves Stamford Bridge having scored 23 goals in 89 games.
