Kenyan speedster Ferdinand Omanyala clocked 9.85 seconds to beat United States of American Fred Kerley. Omanyala took off well and maintained his pace to defeat Kerley and went straight to greet president Uhuru Kenyatta in the stands. The all awaited race kicked off without Italian Marcel Jacobs who did not make it to the race, despite being in the country. Omanyala has made history winning two back to back Kipkeino Classics event. He made history as the fastest man in Africa and has now won it again. The 25year old will be delighted with his exploits as Kenyans rally behind him.Indeed ,he is a true reflection of what Kenya can do if proper management is done in the sport. The president was seen dancing in the stands when the son of the soil beat Kerley to the finishing line.Kenya will now have something to smile about in short races with Omanyala doing marvellous in every race he participates.Do you think Omanyala will become the fastest man in the world? He has what it takes to become the best if he continues to work extra hard.Congratulations to him and best wishes ahead. For more news updates tap on the follow link on the top right corner.
