Werner's Horror Miss Against Iceland Attracts Criticism, Should Chelsea Sell Him For Good?

Chelsea and Germany striker Timo Werner ended his international break with a lot of criticism after repeating the mistakes he did last seasons.

Germany could have thumbed five past Iceland but Werner put the ball over the crossbar despite the goalkeeper having been beaten.

He however registered an assist and three goals in the international break where teams played World Cup qualification.

Sometimes last seasons, Werner failed to score in one on one positions with the goalkeeper and sometime on open nets.

Chelsea and fans tried to trust in him by arguing that he was trying to adapt to Premier League way of play.

However, yesterday's miss could be an indicator that he is never getting better.

Most criticising him on social media believe that Chelsea should stop expecting much from him and think of selling him.

With the arrival of lethal finisher Romelu Lukaku, Werner's position is less assured if he wastes precious chances.

If Chelsea decide to sell him, then Bayern Munich could be an option as reports have linked him with former RB Leipzig coach Julius.

Below are reactions from general fans after they watched the miss. Click the link below to watch the miss.
