After match week 1 being played last weekend, the Betking premier league takes a break until mid October. This is to allow for World Cup qualifier matches to be played in the next coming week.
It is only right then that before we head to the international break, we look at how the table is and how it is going to remain for the next two weeks.
At the top of the table sit Bandari FC who had a very good start to the season beating Mathare United 3-0. Sofapaka who also registered a huge win in match week 1 after thrashing Nairobi City stars 3-1 are second while Gor Mahia sit third after also registering a 2-1 win over KCB.
AFC Leopards, Kariobangi Sharks, Kakamega Homeboyz and Ulinzi stars occupy position 4 to 7 respectively after all of them registering wins last weekend. It's the goal difference that set the difference.
At the bottom of the table are league champions Tusker FC at number 16, Nairobi city stars at 17 and finally Mathare United sit at the rock bottom of the table after suffering a three nil loss to Bandari FC.
