Two gunners players faced each other in the African Cup Of Nations competitions at 7 pm EAT. Ivory Coast played against Egypt in a tight game. The Two Arsenal players displayed a good match despite both of them warming the bench this season at Arsenal under Arteta. Nicholas Pepe and Elneny have been on form for there Country side with both playing 120 minutes in today’s match.
The game was a sort of good news for arsenal fans given that the match was a knock out and any team that loses means one player is available for Mikel Arteta. After 90 minutes, it was seen that the player to be heading back to London is Nicholas Pepe.
Arsenal Fc has had a major issue of late with player shortage and they lack game changers especially in the midfield and in the flanks. Nicholas Pepe will be heading back to London after Ivory Coast lost to Egypt on penalties. This will be good news to Mikel Arteta as this gives him an extra attacking player to choose from.
