1. Holstein Kiel v Wurzburger Kickers
Wurzburger Kickers remain routed to the bottom of the German 2 Bundesliga, with just 12 points to their name. The Kickers have also lost 16 of their last 19 away league games. The hosts Holstein Kiel are unbeaten in their last 5 games, having won 4 of those and drawing 1 of those games.
Holstein Kiel also managed to take away an impressive and surprising draw with Germany giants Bayern Munchen, they even managed to beat them on penalties, knocking them out of the Cup. Holstein Kiel are 3rd on 39 points, and they are in great form as they chase promotion to the pinnacle of German football.
2. Slovacko v FK Teplice
FK Teplice is far from being a weak team so I do think they can take a point today. Slovacko is in good form, but in last 2 face to face matches they could not prevail.
3. RB Leipzig v Augsburg
Leipzig are 2nd in the Bundesliga and are playing an Augsburg team who have collected only 6 points on the road all year. They've got a strong defence that's only been conceding 0.60 goals per game on average at home, while scoring 1.90 on average. They've won their last 2 home games 1-0, as well as 4 of their last 8 overall, and 5 of 6 at home to bottom half teams. They won the reverse fixture 0-2, and have picked up 3 points from each of the last 3 games against Augsburg.
4. Blackburn v Preston
Preston have failed to win five of their last six matches. The visitors have lost seven of their last 10 trips Blackburn have won three of their last five league games Preston to continue awful run. Preston head to Ewood Park with just one victory in their last six Championship games, with the visitors coming into this one having lost their previous two games.
Preston were able to make a strong start away from home this term, but of late things have taken a turn. The visitors have lost seven of their last 10 matches on the road ahead of this clash. Meanwhile, Blackburn have won three of their last five league games and with Preston struggling we’re backing them to secure three points this weekend. Blackburn scored 25 goals in their first 13 league games this season but have since netted 16 in their subsequent 14 Championship matches. Home win for Blackburn today.
5. FK Proleter Novi Sad v FK Zlatibor
Proleter Novi Sad has only 1 match lost at home where obtained 6 wins and 3 draws. Zlatibor 18th of 20 has a poor away record of 2W3D5L. No doubts.
6. FK Backa Topola v Rad Belgrade
Rad Belgrade is in the relegation zone and a victory today would be pure gold. FK Backa Topola is in the middle of the leaderboard and a defeat today would not affect them at all.
7. Bologna v Benevento
Bologna got back on track last weekend with a 3-0 win over Parma. They should be too strong for a Benevento side who are languishing in 17th on the ladder having failed to win their last six away games.
8. Hannover 96 v Paderborn.
Hannover don't draw many games (only 2 of 20 this season). Despite them winning 6 of their last 9 games: I fancy backing the draw here as I reckon a Paderborn side who have lost only 2 of their last 8 games and recently drawn with the current 3rd and 4th placed teams could possibly do enough to take a point from this game.
9. Gloucester v Bristol
Bristol head the Premiership table and come to Gloucester who are rock bottom with nine points to their name. This looks to be heading towards a one sided affair with Bristol taking their wins over Gloucester to six on the trot which date back to 2018. Bristol did lose their last game after five straight wins, Gloucester have gone five games without winning and a win for Bristol looks a positive angle to take.
10. Wellington vs Canterbury
The New Zealand Super Smash final is all set again to play at defending champions Wellington Firebirds where they face the Canterbury Kings. The Kings were the only side to defeat the Firebirds during the regular Season at home. However, playing in Wellington it is the hosts who definitely have the edge winning their last five here and the Kings have been shaky in their away form - winning just two of their last five. I tip Wellington to defend their title on home soil!
