Kenyan comedian Meshack Kiptoo Biwott has made headlines in the entertainment industry after he perfectly imitated football commentator Peter Drury. The young teacher, who uses local utensils to shoot videos had gone as far as attracting attention of Drury himself.
During this World Cup, he has gotten an opportunity to travel to Qatar to watch the game live. It is the only opportunity he has to meet his role model Drury. He therefore took to the streets of Qatar with a written card board asking Drury that he is around so he is requesting to meet him.
Uria, through his comedy, has gotten an opportunity to feature in international sports media houses. He said that he does a lot of listening and following the commentary go a long time before shooting their videos. That his love for football is also another thing that pushes him hard to follow Peter Drury and speak like him.
