The UEFA champions league matches continued to be played yesterday with different clubs registering impressive perfomances. The likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Juventus all won their fixtures.
Sevilla continued with their dismal perfomances yesterday with the club's senior management being forced to make a tough decision. After careful consideration, Sevilla decided to part ways with Julian Lopetegui as their manager. Lopetegui has been the club's manager for a few years now.
He has won several matches with the Spanish top club in the past but his recent perfomances have not been appealing. Following his sacking, Sevilla went into a thorough search for his replacement and have finally found him in a matter of hours. Latest reports indicate that the Spanish top club are set to appoint Sampaoli as their new manager when talks are finalized.
