Ole Gunnar Solskjaer surprised several Manchester United fans with the team selection against Leeds United at the Elland Road stadium on Sunday afternoon.
He opted to bench Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani for Marcus Rashford and Daniel James with the two not impressing that much.
The intense game showed that Manchester United were lacking the services of Paul Pogba as Daniel James was wasteful on a number of occasions.
His mistimed runs, poor positioning and not staying on his feet made Ole Gunnar Solskjaer make several tactical changes which saw Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood rotate with him every time.
It was game over for Daniel James in the 76th minute when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer introduced Paul Pogba who has been on red hot form, but the Ramadan fasting got him have a few minutes in the match.
As he was coming off the pitch, it was all written all over the face of Daniel James that he was frustrated by the coach's decision.
However, it was the right decision to make because he costed Manchester United open goals after his teammates found him clear on numerous occasions.
