Switzerland striker Breel Embolo scored the opener against Cameroon in their early kickoff match. The game drew level going into halftime with Cameroon being the better side. They had the majority f chances but weren't able to capitalize on them. Eric Choupo Moting took a shot straight to the keeper who was fantastic as well.
Breel Embolo would however give Switzerland the lead in the 48th minute, just three minutes after the return of play. Breel however opted to hold up his hands and didn't celebrate. But why? Now, Embolo is a Cameroonian born player. He only changed nationalities later on. So technically he has the Cameroonian blood.
True sportsmanship dictates that you don't celebrate after scoring against your former team, or your home country. Well, this is one of those unwritten rule's. Switzerland were nowhere to be seen in the first half in a match that wad even. Good game from the Cameroonian side.
