The aftermath of matchday seven of the English premier league has seen one manager shown the exit door following a dismal start to the season as newly promoted clubs seek survival in top-flight football.
Watford's loss to Leeds was the final nail on Xisco Munoz who was instrumental in their promotion to the premier league but the Hornets confirmed that the coach had left the club since the board felt results were not improving.
Xisco's exit paves way for the return of legendary title-winning manager Claudio Ranieri who is fondly remembered for lifting the Premier League title with Leicester City and he will now be tasked with ensuring that Watford evades the relegation battle.
Italian football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that despite Ranieri being linked with a host of Italian clubs, he is set for a return to the English top flight.
"Claudio Ranieri has been approached by many Italian clubs in the last few weeks. He was waiting for new chances and he’s now prepared to accept Watford's proposal to replace Xisco.Sir Claudio’s set for Premier League return." Romano tweeted.
